Covariant Flow

The Covariant Flow tool was a bespoke piece of generative design software built in collaboration with Pentagram as part of their new brand identity for Covariant. The software allows the design and export of an infinitely variable set of images, animation and brand assets within the covariant flow system. The tool uses a custom 2D realtime graphics pipeline to create a unique aesthetic and avoid expensive and slow manual animation processes and software techniques. This graphics pipeline (built on web technologies) was later used as a realtime responsive web element on the background of the Covariant website.
