The AMBEO Augmented Audio Lab is a new interactive spatial sound experience for the Magic Leap One developed by Sennheiser. I worked with Sennheiser to design and build the realtime visualisation system which allows you to see sound loops in 3D in mixed reality with the AMBEO Lab app. Every sound in the lab is represented by a shimmering ball of vibrating energy. You can create, record, shape and even throw sounds in the lab as if they were physical objects. The lab is a playground to explore the potential of augmented in audio in future XR experiences and if you have a Magic Leap One headset you can download it for free on Magic Leap World.
The AMBEO Lab was built using the Unity Engine.
